I found this clip a long time ago but it kept crashing on me right around 3:20. Thanks to the power of YouTube it is now available for the Internet masses.
As a musician/cameraman/producer/editor, I must give it up to Ethan Winer. He may be a dorky looking band nerd/tech geek, but he can play the **** out of a Cello! No youtube whore here- Ethan Winer (www.ethanwiner.com) was an accomplished musician before the Internet was invented! I strongly suggest any aspiring cellists (sp?) not only enjoy this video but visit his website which includes tons of high-quality resources and magazine articles (yes- he writes!).
If the Bushfinger Music Project GarageBand Show had a ratings system, Ethan Winer would definately get five stars! *****

New Music Tuesday - Episode Seventeen?!Wow! Seventeen Episodes of "New Music Tuesday" and no major record deal yet?! (I'm kidding!)
By now we all know that pretty much every song ever written is/was based on a real life events right? And by "based" i mean, "somewhat related...". Therefore, I'm sure no one gets offended as we take liberties will the real life events of an oh-so-exciting News Years' Eve weekend in this track we call "Sugar Daddy". Because, well... it's funny, and it's Episode Seventeen!

Have I "arrived"?
How do you know you're "super cool"? When you get a "MySpace Friend Request" from someone you have absolutely no connection with?! (yes, I checked!)
With a band profile on MySpace I do get a lot of requests from other bands, friends of bands, and other band/music-related MySpacers. Then of course, there are all the folks I actually know in real life. Call me naive or just behind the curve, but I never anticipated an unsolicited request from a random 'Spacer, let alone a hottie that *isn't* trying to lead me to a porn site (so far anyway).
So, as the BMW/MINI factory navigation system says as you reach your destination,
"You [pause] have arrived"
(/me pops collar) :)
